    On 12/06/1993, JMJG created a concept for a VHS production company in Brazil, and in mid-1997, JMJG created a logo to use on its brands called "Studio Som&Imagem". Since 1993, JMJG has also worked in the electronics technical area, repairing analog circuits on audio and television benches.

    Our first logo was a pyramid with 3D effects, with several colored divisions on its sides. This logo was used for a few years from 1994 to 1997 on our VHS tapes produced by the former "Studio Som&Imagem".

    On 01/01/2008, JMJG launched the Video Production company in Brazil called "Som&Imagem", operating with 100% LINUX technology to reduce its operational costs and perform services with VHS (digitization and editing). These services included revitalizing video and audio with advanced engineering techniques, non-linear editing and DVD authoring.

    What does E.S.I mean?

    ESI can be an abbreviation for Sound & Image Engineering, Sound & Image Studio, Sound & Image Electronics or even Intelligent Services Company. Precisely because he could not define the best classification, JMJG chose the name "ESI" to represent his company. The ESI logo was the same one created by JMJG in 1997, but the colored pyramid did not look good in GCI animations (computer animation in Blender), and so the colors were replaced by a "golden yellow", according to the advice of designer/artist RAJ- Roldão Aires Joaquim (uncle of JMJG). This also simplified the trademark registration process.

    In 2013, JMJG combined the two concepts in the company ® ESI JMJG Som&Imagem, and the company was opened with a CNPJ and conditions to operate in the national market.

    ® Yes, Our Brand is Registered in Brazil! Only companies that register a brand can provide credibility to the end customer, since additional investments are required to protect the brand. Those who register a brand want to show the market that they intend to operate for many years with seriousness and honor their services and contracts with customers!

    The brand also carries with it all the reputation of the company, what it represents in technical or commercial capacity. You can trust that if the brand is registered, the company is solid.

    In 2020, ESIJMJG, due to the high demand of the market, lacking and specialized in Vintage products, and as a Brazil reference on the subject, changes its CNPJ and starts to also operate in the Specialized Trade of Vintage Sound Equipment and Computers (1970-1989), starting the direct sale to the public of 100% Restored and Redesigned products in the ESIJMJG Laboratories.

    ESIJMJG Som&Imagem has its own headquarters, located in the city of São Paulo, one of the largest capitals in Brazil. All internal services contracted by the client are carried out at the headquarters, such as Training/Courses/Maintenance/Repairs/Video Production, Video or Sound Editing, among other activities that do not require the displacement of staff to provide external services!
